The Academic Observatory allows researchers from around the world to analyse the open knowledge performance of universities, drawing on Curtin University’s Open Knowledge Initiative database.
The Curtin Open Knowledge Initiative (COKI) Project was established in 2018 and has developed the most comprehensive relational database of open knowledge performance of universities around the world, which is called the Observatory Platform. The Observatory Platform is designed to be an open source, community-driven and community accessible resource, build around re-usable cloud architecture and transparent assumptions.
The Observatory is a community-governed community that provides access to researchers from around the world to the COKI Observatory Platform.
