COKI team members Professor Lucy Montgomery, Dr. Katie Wilson and Dr. Karl Huang are co-editors of a special issue of the journal Publications exploring issues of Open Access and Equity, Justice and Diversity.
This special issue provides opportunities for researchers and communities interested in interdisciplinary research that relates to questions of what it means for universities and scholarly communication to be ‘open’; as well as how equity, justice and diversity connect (or maybe don’t) to transformations that are now taking place in scholarly communication; why it is (or is not) valuable to move towards more open research approaches; and, what roles can data and analysis play in this space.
Articles will be OA at no cost to authors (APCs are being waived for the issue). The journal is indexed in DOAJ, Scopus and Web of Science (ESCI) for accreditation purposes. Manuscripts will be received up to 30 April 2023.
